Telegram Stars & Premium Guide

Telegram Stars and Telegram Premium are two different services. Stars are used for supported purchases inside Telegram, while Premium is a subscription that adds features to your account.

Telegram Stars

When a Stars product requires a username, enter the correct Telegram @username exactly as it appears on the intended account. Do not use the display name.

Telegram Premium

Premium is a subscription and is separate from Stars. Check the subscription duration, activation method, and any region notes shown on the product page.

Which one should you choose?

Choose Stars when you need Stars balance for supported Telegram services. Choose Premium when you want Telegram Premium features for a specified subscription period.

Protect your Telegram account

Top-ups that use a username do not require your Telegram password or login verification code. Keep verification codes private and avoid changing the username while an order is being processed.
